That means that some times he would turn into a monster. Kind of like a
were-wolf but not a wolf.
His life was almost perfect and charming. He lived in a nice new castle
and had everything he wanted. Well almost everything.
What he wanted but did not have was happinees. Rumors had it that he
hadn't known happiness for so long that his unhappiness had spread over
the whole kingdom.
It was hard to find happiness when an evil monster was attacking people
and things in his kingdom.
For a long time he ignored the problem. Then he started looking into it
after there was a disaster, but he couldn't find the monster. It was a
mystery.
Until finally, one day he discovered the secret of the evil monster.
That evil monster was him.
Perhaps an evil witch or wizard has cast a spell on him when he had been
born. Or perhaps he had eaten an poison apple. But more likely - in fact
almost guaranteed to be the reason was that he had done something he
wasn't supposed to do and the spell had been cast on his as punishment.
Was he being punished because he had rescued the princess? No.
Was he being punished because he had married the princess and made her
his queen? No.
No - he was being punished because of something else.
Everyday when the king's children's teachers left the children became
monsters.
Why did they become monsters? Because they a monster's children.
What was the queen doing?
So the king decided to
- call the queen regularly to see what she was doing and log activities
- call the queen and children around 4pm and see what they were doing
- prepare activity kits the night before
- prepare schedule the night before for wife and kids
To break the spell the king the singing fairy and the dancing fairy and
the drawing pictures fairy and the telling stories fairy helped him
everyday, and on weekends the swimming fairy and the massage fairy and
the making pancakes fairy helped.
